We seek financial support for our youth training and capacity building program to establish Agri-based enterprises (like- Bee-Keeping, Mushroom production, Medicinal and Aromatic plant, Compost, Fishery, etc.) in the villages of Uttarakhand. CBED is recognized as a Nodal Training Institute by the MANAGE, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Government of India, to provide Agri Business Training. We need support to provide training and guidance for migrant workers and/or unemployed youth due to COVID-19 in the villages of Uttarakhand to set-up enterprises. We would also support them to fulfill all the legal formalities and support to run a business i.e. purchase of Machinery, raw materials etc. Seed capital will also be provided to establish their units and necessary linkages with banks and other financial institutions will be developed. We shall also provide support to market their products through developing market linkages on both offline and online market channels.

All the beneficiaries of the intervention will be brought together to establish a network called “Youth Employment Network (YEN)”. This network will provide a platform for the youth to solve various employment related issues and act as a youth livelihood resource center in the long run. We will motivate youth to become a member of this network and donate at least 1% of their annual turnover to the network every year.
